We're going to start this series off with a relatively simple image in regards to post processing. The heavy lifting was done by the amazing light show put on by Mother Nature and I just had to be sure I didn't screw that up.
Last week I went down to Portsmouth to give a presentation to the Seacoast Camera Club about how to capture better seascapes. Renee, their events coordinator was nice to ask me a few months ago and I couldn't have been more excited and more honored to do so.
The start of the night could not have gone much worse short of someone dying. When I arrived I quickly realized that my iPad, where my presentation was, was not able to hook up to the clubs projector because it didn't have a HDMI port. After about 25 minutes of trouble shooting and light panicking, we managed to find a workaround and the presentation was able to get under way. I had a to move a little faster then I had planned, but I was able to cover most everything and still go through some image critiques for club members. I included some of the slides from the presentation here and can make the whole presentation available if people would like to see it.
Welcome to the new Charlie Widdis Photography website! It's great to be in the new space. While I loved my last site, I had begun to grow in a way it just couldn't accommodate anymore. With the new site you'll see great new features like a regularly updating blog with tips, tricks, news and the latest photos from my adventures. You'll also be able to see workshop offerings as well as sign up for one on one mentoring sessions. So welcome, take a look around and let us know what you love, or if there is something you would like to see different!
